A Polarization microscope Series for beginners. With a built-in 360° rotatable stage, this Series exceeds the simple Polarization contrast of a biological microscope in detecting birefringence.

Illumination
The PM microscopes feature a 20W Halogen illumination with intensity control (exception: PM1805LED with 0.5W LED). A focusable 1.25 N.A. Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm and filter holder cares for an optimized illumination.
Mechanics
A reversed 4-fold nosepiece allows an easy change of slides. The 360° rotatable stage with 1° scale carries 2 sample clips for a safe fixation of the sample. The PM Series is based on a separate coarse/fine mechanism with tension adjustment (coaxial focus in PM2805).
Contrast Methods
The 360° rotatable polarizer works with a swing in/out analyzer.
