Area Sales Manager

MOTIC is a ground-breaking company specialized in manufacturing conventional compound microscopes. Our mission is to stand by our young scientists from their early steps, improve healthcare and support the progress of scientific research, by adapting to the market trends and by focusing on advanced digital solutions aimed to fulfil the needs of today and exceed the expectations of tomorrow.  

That is why Motic is constantly looking to expand its operations and we strive to attract and retain the very best talent the industry has to offer.

Right now, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager with fluency in German and English. Currently this position has one vacancy in our German Office.

 

Job description:

Establishing, maintaining and expanding the customer base | Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status | Issue commercial quotes following the Company's guidelines and managing follow-up | Collecting customer and market feedback and reporting the same to the organization | Ensure current customers have the right products and services | Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance | Perform Sales Visits in order to provide product information, answer client questions and concerns and build brand awareness | Attending Exhibitions and Industry events as required | Prepare reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information.

 

Essential requirements:

Fluency in German and English, both spoken as well as written. Any other additional language – such as Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, etc. - will be valued.

Knowledge of microscopy.

Available to travel with frequency.

Excellent communication skills.

Problem solving skills.

Commercial awareness.

Ability to meet targets.

Positive, confident, and determined approach.

The skills to work both independently and as part of a team.
