The AE31E Series features CCIS© LWD Plan Achromatic Phase contrast objectives. The N-WF 10X/22 eyepieces provide a fast sample overview, while the diopter adjustment of +/- 5 dpt allows a perfect adaption to the individual eye-sights.

Upgraded Inverted microscopes for routine microbiology. All AE31E models are ready for the inspection of native samples in cell culture flasks. “Light Memory” function and Auto ON/OFF mode assure an efficient workflow.

Illumination
AE31E microscopes feature a powerful 30W/100W Halogen illumination in a Full-Koehler setup. The focusable ELWD condenser with NA 0.3 and 72mm Working distance can be removed to work with extremely large vessels. The ELWD condenser can be replaced by a condenser with higher N.A.
Mechanics
The standard fixed stage plate can be upgraded with a mechanical stage for a convenient sample examination under high magnifications. A smooth drive through cell cultures and water samples is easily performed by a fine focus of 2µ minimum increment.
Contrast Methods
LWD Phase contrast objectives are already part of the basic packages. One illumination ring Ph1 covers the objectives 10X/0.25, 20X/0.30 and 40X/50. An optional 4X/0.10 Phase contrast objective with separate illumination ring Ph0 is available. The AE31E can be easily upgraded with a fluorescence attachment.

An HBO Fluorescence is possible by implementing an optional 4-pos. Epi-Illuminator with a 100W Mercury lamp house and separate power supply.
Auto ON-OFF
The Auto ON/OFF mode assures lab safety and an energy-saving usage.
Mechanical Stage
An optional x/y object guide for a convenient sample examination under high magnifications is available.
